Ice cream is the BEST! Historic old fashioned ice cream. It's been around since I was a little girl! Workers are very friendly! They provide jobs for high school & college students for the summer!

You can't go wrong with a late night ice cream run, and Dairy Palace is definitely the place to do it! We were met with a very friendly ice cream artist who quickly took our order and whipped out our Sunday and cone instantly. The serving sizes were generous and the price was great. It has the vibe of a local mom and pop shop, with great quality and great value. Will definitely be coming back to sample some of their many ice cream creations!

Love this place, so happy we live closer now. My waist line doesn't appreciate it though. 5 stars every day

A shrine since 1956. A must stop if you are in the state of Delaware. As good as a soft serve twist cone as I have ever had.

What tastes like summer nostalgia? Ice cream. The line was worth the wait and it went by fast. Swing by if you're in town or make the drive it'll be worth your while.

They make ice creams that taste like childhood! The ice creams are so soft and not too sweet! If you got one of those ice creams with sprinkles or crunches, it would be a bad idea to eat it in your car because the ice cream is so soft and melts so quickly the crumbles will drop in your car. Also they DO accept credit cards.

Summer of ice cream (week 2!)... worth the trip! Here's our specific review on a 10-scale... Flavors:PB&J and "the tonga" -coconut, Carmel, graham cracker and choc Texture: 6.5/10 (only had soft serve) Flavor selection: 5/10 (all vanilla soft serve but topping selection was 10/10) Taste: 6/10 (PB&J was kinda slimy and no texture) 8/10 (The Tonga was really sweet but texture was good) Vibe: 8/10 very old school outdoor ice cream parlor Service: 9/10 so fast , done before we even paid.

Soft serve ice cream and shakes from a local owned-family business. Probably was a Dairy Queen 50 years ago and retains the charm, parking lot ambience, and the brain freeze slushes. Just added credit cards. A slice of the [New] Castle, next to the airport. Don't miss it. Open late until 10 am. Seasonal.

Absolutely 100% five stars! Great service Delicious soft serve Variety I ordered chocolate vanilla swirled with peanut butter syrup. Never had peanut butter syrup before it wasn't bad. We will return.
